pinhole camera worksheet

1 camera obescura ~  A darkened box with convex or aperture for protecting the image of an external object onto a camera screen
2 pinhole camera ~ a pinhole camera is a camera with a hole the size of a pin to allow light to come in and make an image on a photo paper
3 exposure time
bright sun~ short time
cloudy~ long time
indoor window light~ medium time
indoor away from window~ long time
4 camera shake~ when you hold the camera on your hands the pulse of your fingers will shake the camera making your photo blurry
5 exposure time with bright sun and cloud~ 30 seconds
6 exposure and size of the camera~ the size of the camera doesn't matter it will be the same exposure time.
7 moving objects taken with camera~ the image will become blurry and unfocused
8 exposure directly at the sun~ it will make the photo completely black
9 light leaks~ a light leak is when you get light in your camera and it will make all or part of your photo black
10 developer~converts the image
11 stop bath~neutralizes the the developer and stops it from working
12 fix bath~stabilizes the image
13 wash bath~ the wash bath is to was off all the extra chemicals
14 safe lights~ safe light are lights we use to be able to see that don't react with the photo paper like a normal light would
15 fixer spots~ a defect in ur image from the fixer not being washed properaly
16 agltate chemicals when printing~to keep images in an even motion while it is being processed
17 chemical to skin contact~ you should be concerned because you might not know what is in the chemicals and you could get hurt
18 chemical mixing~ you should be carful because you might not know what happens if you mix the chemials. you can avoid it by making sure you don't put the tongs in other solutions
19 prints sticking together~ when people put their picture over your picture to dry
20~ over and underexposed~ overexposed means you had your pinhole open too long and it will make your photo black and underexposed means you didn't have your pinhole open long enough causing your photo to go white.
